Figure1

One of the best medical apps

Reccomend

Very good app to chat, discover and learn about cases! Reccomended

Incredible!!!

I have learned so much by looking at this app everyday. Thankyou.

Excellent app

Very good for learning. Pictures and real cases makes better learning. Comments from other people makes you think of ddx and other to solve a problem.

Amazing for students

As a medical student, I LOVE this app. It lets me try and solve real life cases with simple vignettes. It allows medical students to interact with other health care professionals and start networking. My only issue is that I cannot add any interests for some reason. I can click +interest as many times as I want, but they never seem to stay. Fix that and I give it 5 stars!

Great Reaource

Awesome visual resource for students trying to learn, understanding rare cases and discussing treatment options.

Terrible

Wont download and it is beyond annoying. Its downloaded to the extent that there is a blank box on my screen, and when I try to re-download it, it wont fully download, and I cant erase it. This leaves me thinking its corrupt (or my phone is messed). So Ill blame the app for now

Will not open

App will open then almost immediately crash on iPod 5th generation.

Love this app!!

Im a nursing student

Very interesting!

Great to see multi-media content but can be overwhelming. Not recommended for students.

Love this app

Great community

Fantastic! Addicting.

Not for the squeamish. A must have for the medical professional! This app is for serious professionals, and should be respected, as the cases in here are real patients. Continuous learning and teaching environment.

Love, love, love

Its the Instagram of medicine! I enjoy how its set up by specialties. Wide variety, great pictures!

Interesting but not great for learning

When I downloaded this app I was under the impression that the posts would be clinical cases for readers to make guesses to diagnoses and treatments from a poster who already knows the answer AND can explain it. However, this app lets anyone post, and the good posts ( like the ones I was just referring to) get buried under nurses or medical students asking for help solving their personal clinical issues...I feel like there are plenty of other forums and online resources that are better suited for those purposes. As a medical student, myself, I would get more out of this app if it was regulated to some extent (maybe and up/down arrow to get rid of unwanted post?). Another idea: have a section of the post be the answer to the question. If the poster doesnt have an answer, they cant post.

Besttt

Best app ever

Not working well after latest upgrade.

Loved this before the update. Please fix the bugs! Pictures arent loading!!

Love the app but...

I love the app. Educational and interesting. However, since the update 6/3, I cant open it anymore! It crashes immediately. Once the bugs get worked out, Im sure it will be great again.

Great app - glitches make it miserable to use!

I love this app. Its an app that I spend time on daily. Ever since the most recent update a few days back, it is not worth signing on. Every time someone comments on a case you are following, it pops up in the banner mode and kicks you back to the beginning, or throws you out of the case you are reading. I read one line about 30 times because it kept throwing me out. Extremely frustrating! I gave up and signed off. And I have all notifications turned off when this happened. Please FIX!

Updated review.

Im a PA-S currently on my rotations and I loved this app when I first downloaded it with all the cases and the conversations that accompanied it about differentials and different treatment approaches. Im not sure what has happened now, but whenever I look at a case and look to see the comments all I see are a bunch of "wow, that is so cool!" Or "my son-daughter had that happen to them". This is an app meant to educate and learn not a place for your Facebook stories/comments. Im really disappointed in the quality of conversations about medicine now. I liked it much better before...
