Figure 1 - Medical Cases App Reviews

As a soon to be paramedic student, this app allows me to get some good visuals in the emergency medicine category; the comments also help me get used to the medical lingo.

Such a fantastic idea for an app. As a new RN, it really helps me to build a stronger knowledge base of how conditions appear in practice.

I love this app. Ive actually learned so much from it, and have been able to see tons of presentations of common and uncommon pathologies, which you dont always get to do at med school. Nice job guys!!

A truly bizarre and stimulating way to waste time, for those of us who are not medical professionals.

Since the update the program glitches and closes whenever I click the "profile" tab - I have tried deleting and reinstalling. Love the app otherwise!

Figure 1 is populated by shocking medical images focusing on eliciting emotional viewer responses rather than educational value. A sadly missed opportunity....

Im addicted to Figure 1!! Im not a health care professional or student, but I still love scrolling through the pictures and learning about different diseases. Im so excited with the update and that answers are now flagged. Keep up the awesome work!!

The best way for me, as a future medic, to understand the practice of medicine. Figure 1 is essentially a collection of thousands of small case reports.

Works wonderfully, never had any technical issues. Great community and good mods, very informative.

This app is wonderful. As someone who has always been interested and passionate about going into a medical career but has had some road bumps, this app is my closest thing to school. Ive learned more about diseases and surgeries than ever, everyone is super friendly and when someone is stuck or asks why its not ___ they get very helpful and genuine answers, helping everyone out in the process. Now when my time for medical school comes Ill be extra prepared :)

I am using this social network as a medical student. It is very nice to challenge my own knowledge or even learn more about rare diseases.

This app allows me to share interesting images with my colleagues as well as see what others are posting. Beautiful interface, easy to use, and I love how privacy conscious it is.

Extremely useful

This app saves me on a daily basis. When Im in class and the prof is discussing a condition or disease most often there is no visual to go along with the slide. This is when I go on Figure 1 to find an image or case so I can actually see what it looks like. Without Figure 1 my learning would be lacklustre and boring. Thank you!

Amazing app for all health professionals and health students. Real insight to whats going on, and I learn new things every day!

As a medicine student in Italy, where there is no patient contact for students, this really keeps me going. A very polite community of professionals discusses interesting cases as well as procedures, public health structures and latest research topics. All of the questions I posted were answered in a nice and educational way. Only problem is that every time I close the app and re-open it, it forgets where I was and jumps to the latest posts. Would be nice to remember where Ive been without scrolling all the way down or even have an option to pass by all the posts Ive once seen, thus I could see the older cases (before I joined) when I reached the ones I have seen the day before. Apart from that nice work and thanks a lot !
